Ashleigh Hearts Books

My name is Ashleigh, I’m originally from Scotland, Edinburgh to be exact but I moved to Houghton-Le-Spring which is a town just outside Sunderland in April 2021.

I live with my husband and our two dogs and our new home will feature a reading room/office! Watch out for those updates.

I love reading and have done since a young age, back when Roald Dahl was my favourite author and James & The Giant Peach was my favourite book. My reading tastes have certainty changed since then and I love reading all sorts of genres. I have recently become a big fan of fantasy romance and love authors such as Jennifer L Armentrout & Sarah J Maas

Last year I set myself some goals and one of them was to read a Stephen King book and I didn’t manage to do it, so will this year be the year?! I have a post telling you all about my reading goals for 2022.

I love reading books from new authors but my favourite author has to be Linsey Kelk, I own all her books in a mixture of physical and kindle and I am currently working on ensuring my collection is all physical!

Some books that have stood out for me recently have been the ACOTAR series, FBAA series, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, The Mix Up by Holly McCulloch, Throne of Glass series and the House of Earth and Blood.

I created this blog around November 2020 as an expansion to my platform on Instagram and I also created a Twitter account to coincide and promote this blog. I am a friendly person so feel free to get in touch so we can chat all things books or anything!
